
Alp Arda is an architect and entrepreneur, currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture, History, and Project at Politecnico di Torino through a dual-degree program with Tsinghua University, under the supervision of Michele Bonino and Martijn De Geus.
His educational background spans multiple countries, including the UK, where he studied arts and sciences at Concord College before earning his Bachelor’s in Architecture and Master’s in Sustainability for Architecture.​
With three years of professional experience in Europe and recognition in international design competitions, he combines academic depth with hands-on industry expertise. As a Teaching Fellow for Architectural Design Theory A and the elected PhD students' representative, he actively contributes to both academic development and institutional dialogue.

His research focuses on transitional architectural models, urban technologies, and globalised urban transformations approached through an interdisciplinary and analytical framework. Beyond academia, Alp is an active entrepreneur with a growing interest in innovation-driven ventures and the intersection of technology, design, and the built environment.
